Assessments are carried out by specialist
palaeontologists, gemmologists and mineralogists from independent specialists in the United Kingdom, each with at least ten years of experience.
Experts perform laboratory tests to establish a stone's authenticity. Where necessary, mineral analysis includes its chemical composition, electron microprobe
and spectroscopic analysis.
